Gymnasial Education Programme

One World's Gymnasial Education Programme (GEP), like those in similar schools in Europe, provides an INTENSIFIED GENERAL EDUCATION. Our standard programme of education completes the primary level early, completes secondary and post-secondary levels similar to those in Quebec, and covers grades 4-11. In grades 4-8, which complete basic education, the main subjects to be taught are English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, citizenship, geography, at least two foreign languages, physical education, religious morals, art, and music.

Our model includes both acceleration and enrichment, with an emphasis on the former. As in Singapore, elements and practices are drawn from the conceptual models of a number of gifted programmes from all over the world. The regular curriculum in our subject syllabuses is accelerated, and may be enriched in terms of content, process, and product, in our separate classroom learning environment. Most gymnasiasts will start with us from their Fifth Year, when they will begin our Sixth Year curriculum, with a classical language such as Sanskrit added to the other subjects listed above.
